Kosher ethyl alcohol
Kosher ethyl alcohol with the certificate of the Chief Rabbi of Poland is a rectified spirit intended for producers of food products, cosmetics and alcoholic beverages requiring confirmed compliance with kashrut rules. IMA Polska produces kosher ethyl alcohol exclusively from cereal raw materials, in a process under rabbinical supervision - from the reception of the raw material to the loading of the finished product.
Kosher ethyl alcohol - certification and rabbinical supervision
The kosher certificate issued by the Office of the Chief Rabbi of Poland confirms that the entire production process kosher ethyl alcohol meets the requirements of Jewish law (Halakha). This means:
- no raw materials or enzymes of animal origin
- no cross-contamination with non-authorised substances (e.g. lactose)
- full line separation during production of kosher batches
- regular audits and rabbinical inspections of the plant
The document has the status of Pareve (neutral - neither meat nor dairy), which allows the product to be combined with any kosher ingredients. The certificate is internationally recognised and available for download under documents.

- Spirit industry - production of kosher vodkas, liqueurs and liqueurs for markets with Jewish populations (Israel, USA, Western Europe)
- Vegan and natural cosmetics - certification confirms the absence of zoonotic ingredients, which is important for cruelty-free brands
- Food industry - extraction of flavours, production of vinegars, essences and food preparations with kosher labelling
- Pharmacy and supplements - ethanol as a carrier in preparations requiring certification for kosher markets
For customers exporting to Israel, the USA or the UK, kosher certification is often a condition for the product to enter distribution in retail chains serving the Jewish community.
Kosher ethyl alcohol and vegan products
Production process kosher ethyl alcohol IMA Poland does not use any raw materials or processing aids of animal origin. The product has not been tested on animals. As a result, the spirit can be used in products labelled as vegan-friendly - the kosher certification provides additional confirmation for brands building a position in the ethical and plant-based segment.
