IMA Polska S.A. is recruiting for the position of Independent Quality, Environmental and Compliance Specialist. The place of work is a production facility in Murowana Goślina. Who the IMA Poland is looking for
IMA Polska is looking for an individual who views the ISO 9001 and ISO 14001 management systems as practical tools for the day-to-day running of a production facility. The company expects a candidate with operational experience who can independently manage the areas of quality, environmental and regulatory compliance.
The position requires comprehensive knowledge of quality and environmental management systems. The candidate should have experience in conducting internal audits and handling customer and certification body audits. Familiarity with the processes involved in preparing product specifications and certificates of analysis (CoA) in cooperation with the laboratory is also expected.
Required competences and responsibilities
ISO 9001 and ISO 14001 management systems
The post holder is responsible for the maintenance and development of an integrated quality and environmental management system. IMA Polska expects a practical approach to ISO standards. The management system is the operational foundation of the plant, not just formal documentation. The specialist oversees processes, identifies areas for improvement and implements corrective actions.
Internal and external audits
A key part of the job is planning and conducting internal audits according to schedule. The specialist also coordinates the course of external audits conducted by customers and certification bodies. He or she prepares documentation, responds to auditor queries and implements post-audit recommendations.
Environmental reporting by BDO and KOBiZE
The position includes full responsibility for environmental reporting. The specialist prepares and submits reports to BDO and KOBiZE systems within the required deadlines. He or she oversees waste records, monitors emissions and ensures compliance with applicable environmental regulations. He/she is also responsible for the supervision of environmental permits and cooperation with administrative authorities.
CSRD, ESRS, REACH and ECHA regulations
IMA Poland is looking for a candidate with knowledge of current and upcoming European regulations. The specialist should be familiar with the requirements of the CSRD and the ESRS sustainability reporting standards. Knowledge of the REACH regulation, the ECHA PCN notification system and the principles of safety data sheet (SDS) development is also required.
